The King George County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is your local connection to Virginia's land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University.

Through educational programs based on research and developed with input from local stakeholders, we help the people of King George County improve their lives.

We provide education through programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, and Community Viability.

February 29, 2020 from 9am-3pm, youth ages 9-19 can experience archery, riflery and shotgun at the Northern Virginia Gun Club (8648 Caledon Road). March 28, 2020 from 8:30-4:30, we have a 4-H Canine Science Workshop at Colonial K-9 in Stafford, VA. Learn about Nosework, Service Dog Training, Trick Training, Rally, Agility and participate in a VT animal science research project! Cost is $45 for each youth ages 12-19 and includes lunch.
